It is predicted that by 2050 we will be consuming resources as if we had three planets. This is unsustainable and governments are starting to respond. The European Union aims to be the first carbon neutral continent by 2050, which will require a circular economy. Greater durability in clothing and textiles will contribute greatly to achieving this goal.
