SGS provides key expertise on vehicle antenna performance at the Automotive Testing Expo Europe 2023
SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, will provide an introduction to vehicle antenna testing at the ‘Automotive Testing Expo Europe 2023’ – the world’s leading international expo automotive testing, development and validation technologies.
At the event, which takes place in Messe Stuttgart, Germany – June 13-15, Ervin Li, SGS China Auto Connectivity Laboratory Manager, will address delegates on ‘Vehicular antenna performance testing – full vehicle OTA test system.’ Join the presentation at 10:30 on Tuesday June 13, 2023, on the stage in Hall 8.
Ervin will be joined by SGS colleagues, a team of automotive experts from SGS in Germany, France, China and Taiwan. They will be exhibiting at Booth #8464 in Hall 8 throughout the three-day event in June.
With more than ten years of experience in the antenna testing field, Ervin’s expertise contributed to the building and operation of the first active full vehicle OTA testing lab in China.
Ervin said: “Effective vehicular antenna performance relies on many different elements, with in-vehicle infotainment, soft and hardware remote updates and C-V2X all being key features of connected vehicles. With challenges like wider frequency ranges, the limitations of vehicle appearance design and the increasing number of radars, lidars and sensors, performance testing is a crucial part of the research and development – and SGS’s full vehicle OTA test system provides a comprehensive and trusted testing solution.”
Over 400 exhibitors are expected to attend the International Expo. Visitors can learn about the most up-to-date technologies, including the latest in full vehicle testing, NVH analysis, suspension testing and rigs, emission measurement systems and electrical system testing.
