Nutritionist with Beyond Body Releases her Favorite DIY All-Natural Beauty Masks that Protect the Skin during Summer

Christine Zalnieraite - nutritionist with the wellness book, Beyond Body - is sharing her favorite all-natural Do-It-Yourself beauty masks that can protect the skin during these hot summer months

Many women may not realize the summer heat steals moisture and nutrients from the body, which leads to dry skin. Over the course of the summer months, this damage can lead to lost elasticity and premature aging.

Zalnieraite says her favorite summer beauty masks include popular breakfast ingredients - like oats, coffee, yogurt and avocado - that most women don’t include with their skincare.

Avocado contains vitamin E and C which protects the skin from sun damage and helps the skin’s vitality,” says Zalnieraite. “It also contains biotin, a B vitamin that helps with the skin’s dryness. Coffee is a natural exfoliant for the skin and when it’s applied directly to the skin, you can see a rapid change in the skin.”

Zalnieraite has published her favorite DIY beauty masks with Beyond Body that women can make at home. (Click here to see the full list of instructions).
