Geneva (June 11, 2025) – SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, has published SafeGuardS 075.25, summarizing the Maine Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) final regulation implementing its law on ‘Products Containing PFAS’. These rules, which took effect on May 6, 2025, set out restrictions, notification procedures and conditions for currently unavoidable use (CUU) of PFAS in consumer products.

Building on legislation enacted in July 2021 and amended in 2023 and 2024, the regulation applies to all new and unused products containing intentionally added PFAS, unless exempt. It mandates detailed notifications from manufacturers with over 100 employees and establishes a phased prohibition on the sale of such products starting January 1, 2032, unless a valid CUU determination is granted.

Key aspects include:
- Clear definitions of product scope and exemptions, including packaging and certain consumer goods
- Notification processes requiring detailed information and fees, with specific deadlines for submission
- Procedures for requesting CUU, including submission timelines and requirements

SGS publishes SafeGuardS to help stakeholders stay informed of critical regulatory developments. SafeGuardS 075.25 includes a table summarizing the highlights of each section of the final rule.

Stakeholders are encouraged to review the full SafeGuardS 075.25 for further details.

Los Angeles, California. IFC Advisors, a FINRA registered firm in Los Angeles chooses the AdvisorVault 17a-4 Managed 365 Service® to get 17a-4 compliant on the Microsoft Cloud

With a mix of outdated technology IFC had a mess compliance wise: an end-of-life server with data scattered all over the place, although they had a Microsoft subscription already, they needed a better Cloud Provider to fully migrate to Microsoft 365 and consolidate their records while simplifying compliance & reducing IT costs.

Cloud Consolidation Meeting 17a-4

“The Key for IFC meeting 17a-4 was centralizing everything on Microsoft 365”, Said Allan Lonz, President of AdvisorVault. “For example, they needed to migrate their old server to SharePoint; move PC data to OneDrive; upgrade to Microsoft Business Standard license provided by AdvisorVault.” Added Lonz

Essentially though, with this move to Microsoft 365 (through AdvisorVault), IFC was fully using the cloud with 50 GB mailboxes on Exchange, 1 TB of space on OneDrive for each user and another TB for SharePoint with Teams added allowing AdvisorVault to archive their entire operation centrally - easily meeting rule 17a-4.

Benefits of AdvisorVault’s 17a-4 Managed 365 Service®
By using AdvisorVault’s 17a-4 Managed 365 Service FINRA firms get these benefits:

A fully supported and archived Microsoft Cloud for one Flat Monthly Fee

FINRA Cybersecurity with email filtering & threat monitoring built-in

SYDNEY, NSW –7th June 2025– Australian media personality Brittany Hockley recently celebrated her hens weekend with a Sydney-based event coordinated by My Ultimate Hens. The event took place on May 17 ahead of Hockley’s Bali wedding and featured elements from the company’s signature hens packages, including a group harbour cruise and private party moments shared with close friends.

Known for her role on The Bachelor Australia and co-hosting the Life Uncut podcast, Hockley posted about the occasion on Instagram, stating:

“This may have been the most fun night of my life. To my beautiful bridal party who absolutely nailed it – THANK YOU. I’ll never forget it.”

The celebration was also acknowledged by My Ultimate Hens across its Instagram and TikTok channels, where the event was described as one of their “favourite hens moments” and received strong engagement from their audience. The company frequently features real celebrations as part of its content strategy, offering bridal groups inspiration based on client events.

My Ultimate Hens has operated across Australia since 2011, delivering over 22,000 unforgettable hens party experiences in cities including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and the Gold Coast. These curated experiences span a wide range of celebration styles, including rooftop cocktail classes, private yacht cruises, paint-and-sip sessions, party buses, winery tours, drag performances, and more. Each package is crafted with exclusive inclusions and personalised elements, with experiences carefully negotiated and designed specifically for My Ultimate Hens clients. The brand’s focus on unique, elevated offerings has positioned it as a leading provider of one-of-a-kind hens celebrations in Australia.

“Our packages are designed to reflect the individual style and vibe of each bride-to-be, with inclusions and experiences they won’t find anywhere else in Australia,” said a company spokesperson. “Every event, whether for a public figure or a private client, is planned with the same attention to detail.”

Augustine Heights, QLD – 25 May 2025 – With local real estate values soaring, Brookwater Legal is encouraging residents to prioritise succession planning in Greater Springfield to ensure their property and assets are legally protected. The reminder comes as many families in the area remain unaware of how outdated or missing wills can lead to costly disputes and unintended outcomes.

As the value of homes in Springfield, Ripley, and surrounding areas continues to climb, proper estate planning has never been more critical. According to Brookwater Legal, even modest changes in property portfolios can trigger tax implications or inheritance complexities without up-to-date legal documentation.

“We’re seeing more families purchasing property, investing in renovations, or inheriting assets—yet few are reviewing their wills or power of attorney documents,” said Dale Hooper, Principal at Brookwater Legal and experienced lawyer in Springfield. “If a will was created ten or fifteen years ago, it likely no longer reflects the true value of a person’s estate. This is where professional succession planning can help prevent future legal and financial headaches.”

With many families also relying on dual incomes or operating small businesses, income protection and asset structuring have become essential parts of modern estate plans. Brookwater Legal provides tailored advice to individuals, families, and business owners to ensure their affairs are documented in a legally sound and tax-effective way.

Brookwater Legal has built a strong reputation for personal service, practical legal advice, and community engagement. The firm’s succession and estate planning services are backed by in-depth local knowledge and current legislative insight. For more information on the firm’s services, contact Brookwater Legal.

Ingleburn, NSW – 29 May 2025 – A growing number of adults over 40 are choosing dental veneers in Ingleburn to rejuvenate their smiles. Andrew Baderski Dental on Oxford Road has seen a significant rise in demand for porcelain veneers, driven by the desire for natural-looking, long-lasting cosmetic results without invasive procedures.

The clinic attributes the increase in cosmetic dentistry treatments to patients seeking renewed confidence, especially for career transitions, dating, and milestone life events. Porcelain veneers are now one of the most requested treatments among patients aged 40 to 65, reflecting a wider trend toward non-surgical smile makeovers.

“Many adults come to us wanting to feel better about their smile but without going through braces or multiple treatments,” said Dr Andrew Baderski, Principal Dentist and long-standing provider of cosmetic dentistry in Ingleburn. “Porcelain veneers provide immediate, transformative results—closing gaps, correcting chips, and whitening teeth in just a few appointments. We’ve seen firsthand how these changes impact people’s self-esteem and daily lives.”

Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin ceramic shells that are bonded to the front of the teeth. The material is durable, stain-resistant, and custom-designed to match the patient’s facial features and preferences.
